Carly Beth Caldwell

I've always sort of pitied Carly Beth. Not because she's fragile, or horrified, but because she was mercilessly TORTURED for it. I honestly cannot watch the episode without crying when she tears apart her duck costume, bawling her eyes out over being tormented. I really felt for her, and while I was never bullied THAT harshly, I still knew what it felt like so I connected with her. 

In the events of The Haunted Mask 2, she's a lot more courageous, but was still scared of what might overcome her and her friends. I liked how there was continuity and that it felt like she had a bit of an arc. I haven't read all of Horrorland, but I understand she's grown a bit in those books too. 

I want to write another Goosebumps fic in the same universe as "Holding the Aces" with older Carly Beth here. One day I will, but my motivation to write anything at all, including Arcadia, is just nonexistent. I'll get it back eventually.

As for miss Carly Beth here, she is 19 years of age and an activist for rights of all kind. She's a vegetarian and likes to whoop Chuck and Steve's asses. She is grey-asexual and panromantic and Sabrina has the hots for her.
